Symantec Endpoint Protection, undoubtedly the most used anti-virus solution for Small to Medium Enterprises (SME) for the past decade is coming to a end. Coinciding with the take over from Broadcom, Symantec’s Endpoint Protection has an end date of November 2020. All existing customers that need to renew their current license will not be able to do so.
Broadcom suggests that everyone on Symantec Endpoint Protection migrate to ‘Symantec Endpoint Security’ Easy? Not really, Broadcom’s take over has really broken the process to migrate. There is great difficulty with logging into the ‘old’ Symantec portal as well as logging into Broadcom’s portal!
So what are you going to do? How will you protect 100’s of desktops and servers, how will you roll-out a new client? What an IT Administration headache!
Not wanting to sound like a sales person, the easiest solution is always the simplest –
Switch to a new provider! Make it their problem.
